# Meta's Muse for Small Business: an agent for tasks, a team for growth

> Muse for Small Business is Meta's agent for business tasks. Growth is a job with a number and a date, so Runner gives it a team: what Muse does and costs, and what a team of your own adds.

## What Muse for Small Business is, in Meta's words

Meta describes Muse as “a personal AI agent that doesn’t just answer questions, it does the work.” Muse for Small Business, announced on 29 September 2026, is that agent with “a collection of new skills and connectors for the small business owner.” It is the same Muse, with the business side switched on once you connect your accounts.

What it reaches: “Muse can connect to the tools your small business already runs on, including Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe, Zoom and more,” plus an Instagram professional account, a Facebook Page and a Meta ad account.

What it does with them, in Meta’s examples: “It plans a month of content, then checks back in with progress and the next decision waiting for you.” It “learns your voice, spots what’s working, and helps you improve your ads and content,” lets “cash flow and inventory management run in the background,” and flags the emails that need a reply with a draft ready.

## What it asks of you, and what it costs

“Nothing publishes, sends or spends without your approval.” You “approve actions your agent takes on your behalf before they happen, like sending emails and making purchases.” So each task ends on your desk.

“Muse is free for most of what people need,” with subscription plans for more usage, and the business layer is “available today to people in the US and Canada who are 18 and over.”

## Growth is a job, not a task

Everything above is a task: you ask, it does, you approve, and it waits for the next ask. Growth is a different shape of work. It has a number and a date. It needs a lead list, outreach on each channel, ads watched, follow-ups sent and a weekly look at what moved, every week, whether or not you remembered to ask. And someone has to keep score.

That is a team’s work. Runner gives growth a team of its own, built from your code or your POS sales report: a scout finds leads, channel leads draft the outreach, and leadership scores the work against the goal you set, on the model you pick.

## What a team of your own adds

Six things an agent on a task does not come with, and a growth team does:

## What to hand which

Keep Muse on your inbox, your books and your storefront. Add Runner for growth.

Hand Muse the one-off: the reply, the deck, a month of posts planned. Hand Runner the number: the leads to find, the outreach per channel, the weekly review that proposes a bigger share of the goal for what works, and the board that keeps score. The comparison page puts the two side by side, row by row.

## Will anything go out without you?

Not until you switch the team on. Then it works inside the limits you set, and anything outside them comes to you first, with the reason.

The board keeps score against the goal you set, and medals go to real firsts, never to busywork.

## How to start

Start with your code or your POS. Meet your team. Create your account and pick a plan; you pay upfront, and the plans are on the pricing page.
