## Add Runner to Claude

Find Runner in Claude's connectors, or add it yourself by its address. On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors, and then each person connects with their own Runner account.

## Add Runner to ChatGPT

Find Runner among ChatGPT's plugins, or add it yourself by its address on ChatGPT on the web. On ChatGPT Business and Enterprise, your workspace's own policies apply.

## Sign in, and choose which products it can see

Connecting opens Runner's own sign-in. You sign in with your Runner account, and the assistant sees only what your role in Runner lets you see. If you're an owner or admin, Runner asks for your second sign-in step as well.

Runner then shows what the assistant will be able to do and lists the products you belong to. Tick at least one. The assistant reads only the products you tick, and every request it makes is checked against your role at that moment and recorded in your workspace's audit log.

To let it see a product later, connect again and tick that product too.

## What the assistant can see

Every connection can read your business numbers in the products you chose:

- How this week compares with last: visits, contacts, deals, revenue and ads.
- Visits, where they came from, and the Google searches that found you.
- Each ad channel's status, spend, clicks and conversions, and ad changes waiting for approval.
- Open deals by stage and value, wins and losses, and follow-ups that are overdue.
- Revenue and fees, and what each product costs, if your role can see payments.
- Scheduled and recent posts, hot companies and new leads, and your growth team's scoreboard.
- What needs you: approvals waiting, conversations awaiting a reply and overdue next actions.

## It reads about companies and deals, not people

Runner removes contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, message content and payment details before an answer leaves it. A deal keeps the name you gave it, so a deal named after a person shows that name.

If a source isn't connected for a product, such as an ad account or Google Analytics, the answer says so rather than showing a zero.

Once Runner answers, what the assistant does with that answer is governed by Claude's or ChatGPT's own terms and privacy policy.

## What it can draft, and what it never does

Beside the Allow button on Runner's screen is a switch called Can draft, on unless you turn it off. With it on, the assistant can save posts and articles as drafts, and hand your growth team an idea to write up as an article or as posts for the channels you name. Nothing posts until you approve it in Runner.

Turn the switch off and the button reads Allow read access: the assistant reads and does nothing else.

It never sends messages or spends on its own. If an app asks for more than drafting, such as scheduling or cancelling posts where you're a product owner or admin, the switch's description says so before you allow it.

## Disconnect it whenever you like

In Runner, open Settings → MCP clients, at app.runtheworld.ai/settings/mcp-clients. Under Your connections, press Revoke beside the assistant. Its next request is refused.

Your own connections are yours to revoke, whatever your role. An organization owner or admin also sees everyone's connections on that page, and can pause connected assistants under Settings → MCP kill switches.
