Make a QR sign-up card for your counter.

Paste the link you want customers to reach and add your offer. Then print the card or download it.

What's it for?

Your offer, in your words, like a free coffee on your fifth visit.

Optional. It goes above the headline.

Want Runner to make the sign-up page too?

Runner makes a sign-up page for your regulars and a card like this to print. The regulars who tick its box are the people your email lead writes to.

Where to point your card

  • Your sign-up

The page where people join your list. Put what they get for joining in the headline.

  • Your rewards

Where people join your rewards or loyalty card.

  • Your reviews

The link that opens your review page. Ask without offering anything for a review, which review sites' rules forbid.

  • Your social page

Your profile, for people who'd rather follow along.

  • Your booking page

Where people book a table or an appointment.

Printing it

  1. Choose A6 or 4 × 6 in.
  2. Print on card that size, or on A4 or Letter paper and cut along the marks.
  3. In the print dialog, keep the scale at 100 and turn off fit to page.
  4. Scan the printed card with your own phone before you put it out.

What the card doesn't do

  • It counts no scans. The code opens your link directly, with nothing in between.
  • The link is part of the code, so a new link needs a new card.
  • It checks that your link is a web address, not that the page is working.

Questions about the QR Sign-up Card

Is my link sent to Runner?

No. The card is made in your browser, and nothing you type is uploaded or sent anywhere.

Does the code expire?

No. It opens your link directly, with no redirect in between, so it works for as long as your link does.

Can I change the link after printing?

No. The link is part of the code, so a new link needs a new card.

What sizes does it print?

A6 (105 × 148 mm) or 4 × 6 in. Print on card that size, or on A4 or Letter paper and cut along the marks.

Should I download the PNG or the SVG?

The SVG for a print shop or a design app, since it stays sharp at any size. The PNG for a document or a message.

Why was my colour refused?

Phone cameras need a dark code on a light card. A colour is refused when its contrast with white is under 4.5 to 1, the bar for readable text.

Does it cost anything?

No. There's no account and nothing to sign up for.
