Providers who process customer content
Each company using Runner chooses which provider reads the conversations sent to it, so there is no single answer that holds for all of them. These are the providers available to choose, and what each does with what it receives.
This list covers providers that process the content of customer conversations. It is not a list of every service Runner runs on.
Providers a company can choose from
Anthropic
- What they do
- Reading support conversations to suggest a category and priority for them. Writing suggested replies to support conversations for a person to review before sending.
- What reaches them
- The text of the messages in a single support conversation, and the draft written back from it. No contact records, no account data, no billing information.
- How long they keep it
- Anthropic deletes the conversation text from its systems within 30 days of receiving it.
- Where
- Wherever the provider operates its service. We do not select or guarantee a processing region for this.

One option is not an outside provider at all: a company can run the model on its own systems, in which case nothing leaves that company and no provider appears on its list.
A company's own list — the providers it actually uses — is published on a page of its own, linked from the chat window on its site.
Provider retention and deletion details on this page were last checked against each provider's own published documentation on or after 2026-08-12.
The terms this sits under
Conversation text sent for categorisation is processed under the provider's own commercial terms and data processing addendum, which cover their handling, retention, and deletion of it.
Those terms — not a separate arrangement of ours — are what limit what the provider may do with the text. The provider's commercial terms state it does not train its models on it.
If you need a data processing agreement with us that names this provider as a subprocessor, ask and we will put one in front of you. We will also give you notice before adding a new provider to the list on this page.
