A growth team for a business people walk into.
Cafés, restaurants, salons and boutiques start from the till. Your team works on what sells, your quiet hours and your regulars.
Start from your till.
Connect your POS, or drop in the sales report it already makes. Runner reads what sold and when, and builds your team from it.
You pick what it counts.
Orders, repeat customers, or whatever matters to you, and the number to reach. You record the count as it comes in, and Runner counts only what was recorded.
What your team works on for a shop
Posts about your best seller
The first post on each of your social channels names what sells most, and a new draft follows when a new favourite takes over.
Nothing that's about to run out
Where your POS reports stock, an item running low drops out of the best sellers your team writes about, until a fresh count shows it back on the shelf.
Emails to your regulars
Print a sign-up card for the counter. The regulars who scan it and tick the box are the people your emails can reach.
Nothing goes out until you approve it or switch the team on, and then only inside the limits you set.
What Runner tells your team
A sales report from a till comes with a standing brief for a business people walk into.
- Grow what already sells.
- Bring people in on your quietest days and hours.
- Bring past customers back.
- Favour the ways locals find and choose a place over channels built for selling software.

Check your POSQuestions about Runner for local businesses
I run a café, a restaurant, a salon or a boutique. Is this my page?
Yes. Runner starts all four the same way, from the till, so they share a page. What changes is your own sales: your best sellers, your quiet hours, your regulars.
My restaurant runs on Toast. Can it start?
Yes. Connect it with read-only API access you make in Toast Web, and Runner reads what guests order and when. Prefer a file? Drop in the Product Mix report, and Runner reads your best dishes from it.
Does it read my bookings?
No. Runner reads the sales your POS records, and no booking tool feeds it, so a goal counted in bookings is one you record yourself.
Can it run ads near my shop?
It can draft a search ad campaign around your shop, timed for your quiet hours, and file it for your approval, paused. It needs your shop's location, your website, your own ads account and a budget you set.
Do I need a website?
No. Your POS is enough to start. Without a website, the printed sign-up card is how regulars opt in to your emails.
Does Runner see my customers?
No. It keeps totals and your best sellers' names. Customer names, emails and card numbers are never kept.
Bring your till. Runner brings the team.
