Questions about your POS and Runner
Do I have to hand over my POS password?
No. You sign in to your POS yourself, and it gives Runner read-only access. On Toss POS you enter Runner's service code instead, and on Toast you paste read-only API access you make in Toast Web. You can disconnect anytime.
What does Runner read?
What sold, how many, when, and at which location, plus your items and your stock where your POS reports them. It keeps totals and trends, never customer names, emails or card numbers.
How up to date is it?
Runner checks in every hour, and hears about a sale sooner when your POS sends updates as they happen.
Does it find my slow times?
Yes. Runner counts orders by day and hour, and your team plans around the quiet ones. From a sales report, it needs dates and times in the file.
Do I need a website or an app?
No. A shop with a POS is enough to start, plus the AI model your team runs on.
Which POS systems work?
Square, Lightspeed Retail, Toss Place and Toast connect directly. On Shopify POS, drop in your orders CSV. On Clover, sign in once Clover approves Runner. Any other POS works through a sales report, as CSV or Excel, with an Item column and a Qty or Sales column.
Your sales already tell the story. Give it a team.
