Track links and run a partner program

Your short links send people somewhere safe, and count only the real clicks

The link is going on a conference banner, and on Monday you'll want it pointing somewhere else. Runner links redirect with a temporary redirect that browsers don't cache, so pausing a link or repointing it takes effect on the next click, and an earlier destination can be restored.

Every destination is checked when it's saved and again on every redirect: web addresses only, no credentials tucked into the address, no internal hosts. An unknown slug, a paused link and an unsafe destination all return the same not-found page, so nobody can probe which of your links exist.

One link can send phones, tablets and desktops to different places, or split traffic across weighted variants. Each click draws its variant from a fresh random value, never a hash of the visitor, so the split works without a fingerprint, and a device route always wins over the split.

When a chat or social app fetches a link to draw its preview card, it gets the preview and no click is recorded. A real click records the link and any variant or device route used. Its consent is marked denied when the browser sends Global Privacy Control and unknown otherwise, and no click is ever recorded as consent given.

Runner works out what each partner is owed, down to the smallest unit of the currency

A settled order comes in with two partner-link visits behind it. Someone on your team enters the order and the visits, picks whether first click or last click pays, and sets the window, and Runner works out who earned the commission. Both are views of the same journey, and a visit joins that journey only through an identifier the order itself carries. Anything else is listed as excluded, never merged on a guess, and the result decides who's paid without being treated as proof the partner caused the sale.

A reward is a percentage, a fixed amount or a tiered rate, where the tier reached sets the rate for the whole amount. The arithmetic runs in the currency's smallest unit with no floating point, and the rounding rule is saved with each commission, so the amount comes out the same whenever it's worked out again.

Limits apply in a set order: maximum, then minimum, then the margin floor, then the per-partner cap and the program's budget cap. The caps come last on purpose, so a run of small commissions never spends past a budget one minimum at a time.

A commission waits out the reward's hold period before it can become payable. Corrections are added as new rows, clawbacks included, and a decision on a dispute never changes an amount by itself.

The program stays yours, and the money moves where it already does

There's no public directory of programs. A partner reaches yours through a portal link you send: no account, valid for 30 days, revocable, and it shows their programs and codes. An expired or revoked link looks exactly like one that never existed.

Partners work under the terms version in force. Publish new terms and a partner who accepted the old ones is no longer covered, so their partner links stop resolving until they accept the new version.

Payment stays in the tool you already pay people with. Runner's payout provider code is an interface and a stand-in, with no payment client and no credential to switch on, so there's no path through Runner that moves money. A payout account holds a provider's or your own filing reference, never bank or card details.
