How it works
Type your marketing spend for the period: ads, promotions, the tools you paid for.
Type the new customers you won in the same period.
Add what a customer is worth to you, from the lifetime value calculator, to see the two side by side.

Build my teamQuestions about the Cost per Acquisition Calculator
How is cost per acquisition calculated?
Cost per acquisition is the spend divided by the customers it won. Spend 900 and win 30 new customers, and each cost 30.
What is the difference between CPA and CAC?
They are often used for the same sum. CPA usually counts one campaign's spend against the sign-ups or orders it drove; CAC usually counts everything you spend to win customers, staff time included, against all the new customers in a period.
How do I know if my cost is too high?
Compare it with what a customer leaves you. If a new customer is worth 120 in profit over their time with you and costs 30 to win, each one pays back four times. Add the value and the calculator shows the ratio.
